Transportation of the Liebherr crawler crane with a lifting capacity of 1,350 tons (disassembled - 221 parts) from Rotterdam, Holland to Volgograd, Russia, and then from Volgograd, Russia to Cadiz, Spain.
Between July and November 2014, the UTEC Group of Companies organized the transportation of a 1,350-ton Liebherr crawler crane (221 parts disassembled) from Rotterdam, Holland to Volgograd, Russia, and then from Volgograd, Russia to Cadiz, Spain.
Within the framework of this project, the UTEC Group of Companies has completed:

Organization of unloading of a sea vessel in the port of Rostov-on-Don

- Organization of cargo storage in the port
- Delivery of crane parts to the construction site of the Volgograd oil Refinery
- Return of crane parts to the port of Rostov-on-Don
- Issuing of the cargo securing project on the ship

- Finishing of the temporary import procedure

Project Features:
Unloading and loading of two heavy-weight positions weighing 72.5 tons in the port was carried out by a pair of port and railway cranes working in tandem. The vessels were received and dispatched at a critically low water level in the Don River, which is why part of the cargo was placed for storage in the port of Rostov-on-Don (with a separate customs declaration). The rest of the cargo was shipped on another vessel.
